The Pre-Decimal Coins From 1928 to 1968 Had the Following Designs.
Half-Crown Depicts a Horse, Florin a Salmon Fish, Shilling a Bull, Sixpence a Wolfhound, Threepence a Hare, Penny a Hen and chicks, Halfpenny a sow and piglets and Farthing a Woodcock in flight.
The Reverse of Each Coin Shows the Irish Harp.
The Coins Are Attached on To a Designed Metal Plaque.
